Parents and guardians of new Westmont students are invited to campus in November to see how your student is settling in to campus life. You can attend one of our open classes, attend chapel and to get a taste of collegiate life yourself!

Worship with the Westmont community. Our chapel speaker is Carrie Svaboda.
Lunch Available
Dining Commons (DC)
Take your student out for lunch in town or stay on campus and dine in the DC. The DC is cashless. Accepts all credit cards and Apple Pay.
2:15 - 2:45 pm Augustinian Scholars Program: Update and Q&A

Parents and guardians of students in the Augustinian Scholars Program are invited to hear an update from Jesse Covington, Director, Augustinian Scholars Program. He'll share with you highlights of topics students are engaging in the program and answer your questions.
3-3:45 pm Global Opportunities: Information for Parents and Guardians

Parents and guardians, this session is a helpful overview for you to learn about how students can expand their horizons with Global Education. Westmont offers many faculty-led semester-long programs on a rotating schedule along with programs at over 30 affiliate institutions. We encourage students to stop by the Global Education office to find out how they can best prepare for an off-campus experience and fulfill GE, major, minor or elective credit. Learn more here.

Global Leadership Center (indoor seating is limited to first 180 registrants)
If you have not already checked in, get your name tag and enjoy brunch.
During brunch, hear from Lori Ann Banez, Director of Cove Career Service, about Westmont's Career Opportunities & Vocational Exploration (COVE) office. The talk will be geared toward parents and guardians.
It may be helpful to talk with your student before your arrival to talk about their schedule and arrange a time to connect later in the day. Keep in mind, they may be juggling homework.

Where should I park?
Parent Relations has reserved two parking lots especially for visiting parents and families (near the library & baseball parking lots) on Friday and Saturday.
What are the bookstore hours?
You can stock up on Warrior gear during the following hours:
Friday 8:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Note, bookstore is closed during chapel, 10:30-11:20 a.m.)
Saturday 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
